About

Why this exists.

Quotidienn tracks the things you mean to do every day. That is the whole idea.

Most habit trackers ask you to design a system before you have done anything. This one asks for a name and, if the habit is one you spend time on rather than simply do, a number of minutes. Everything else is optional and stays out of the way until you go looking for it.

A habit is either something you do or something you spend time on. Untimed habits are a tick. Timed ones have a goal, and you can run a live timer against them: it shows in the header while it runs, and the time is banked against the day you started it, even if you finish after midnight.

Streaks count consecutive days a habit was scheduled and completed. A day you have not got to yet does not break anything. Only a day that has passed uncompleted does.
